Eole is a clean, fast weather app for your phone and your home screen: local weather in real time, an hourly forecast, a forecast of up to 14 days and a resizable weather widget. No ads, no account, no analytics.

Named after Aeolus, the keeper of the winds, Eole puts the wind forecast front and centre: wind speed and wind direction in km/h, mph, m/s or knots. Handy for cycling, sailing, kitesurfing, running or hiking.

WHY EOLE

☀️ Local weather at a glance
Open the app and see the weather where you are: current temperature, feels-like temperature, today's high and low and the sky conditions, shown with animated weather icons.

🏠 A weather widget for your home screen
Add the Eole weather widget to see the temperature, the sky and the next hours without opening the app. Resize it, choose the city shown by each widget, and add several widgets to follow more than one place. The widget refreshes every hour.

⏱️ Hourly forecast
Scroll through the hour-by-hour forecast to see the temperature and the chance of rain for the hours ahead, and plan your day around the weather.

📅 Up to 14-day forecast
Look further ahead with a daily weather forecast over 7, 10 or 14 days, with the sky conditions, the temperature and the chance of rain for each day. Tap any hour or day to see its weather in detail.

💨 Wind forecast: speed and direction
Check the wind speed and wind direction for every hour before you head out, and pick the unit that suits your activity: km/h, mph, m/s or knots.

🌧️ Rain, humidity, UV index and visibility
Precipitation, chance of rain, relative humidity, UV index, visibility, sunrise and sunset times: the weather details that matter, clearly laid out.

🌍 Your location or any city in the world
Let Eole detect your location for instant local weather, or search for any city worldwide. Save your favourite cities and swipe between their forecasts. Your saved cities stay on your device.

⚙️ Your units, your way
Celsius or Fahrenheit. Millimetres or inches. km/h, mph, m/s or knots. 12-hour or 24-hour clock. 7, 10 or 14 forecast days. Set your preferences once and Eole remembers them.

🌙 A dark, readable design
A dark interface with orange accents that stays easy on the eyes day and night, and forecasts that screen readers.

🔄 Ready when you are
Eole refreshes your forecasts in the background, so the weather is up to date when you open the app or glance at your widget.

🔒 Private by design
No account, no sign-up, no ads and no analytics. Your location is only used to show you the weather where you are. Eole is lightweight and credits every open-source library it uses.
