Noor is a focused Quran reading, listening and learning companion designed for daily use.

READ WITH CLARITY

Move through all 114 Surahs by Surah, Juz or Mushaf page. Read with carefully presented Quran typography, view Tajweed colours and translations, and tap a word for pronunciation and learning details.

LISTEN AND FOLLOW

Choose from Murattal and Mujawwad reciters. Follow synchronized word or verse highlighting, change playback speed, repeat verses and continue listening with background audio.

BUILD A DAILY PRACTICE

Set a daily Wird, keep a reading streak, save bookmarks and notes, and return to your last reading position. Track Hifz progress and review verses that need more attention.

PRACTISE RECITATION

Use optional microphone-based recitation practice to compare recognized words with the selected Ayah and receive learning-oriented feedback. This feature is an aid to practice, not an authoritative assessment of Tajweed or religious certification.

On supported Android 13 or later devices and speech services, a separate on-device check can highlight possible short-vowel differences in supported Ayahs and recordings up to 20 seconds. Devices without compatible audio capture leave pronunciation unassessed. Word matching does not confirm correct pronunciation. Experimental pronunciation feedback leaves unsupported or uncertain sounds unassessed and does not grade complete Tajweed or madd duration.

Noor remains useful as a Quran reader if microphone access is declined. Recitation practice requests microphone access and, on iOS, speech-recognition permission. Apple or Google OS speech recognition may process audio over the network. Native-mode audio is not uploaded to Noor Cloud, and there is no automatic Noor-cloud fallback. See the privacy policy for processing details.
