Glass Haven Rings is a mechanical bead puzzle for your pocket. Two circular tracks of glossy jewel beads are set into a black enamel panel, overlapping so that they share exactly two beads. Turn one track and every bead in it steps around together, including the two standing on the crossings, which are lifted straight out of the other track. Turn the other track and the favour is returned. Nothing slides and nothing packs here. The only move is a rotation, and the two rotations refuse to leave each other alone.

Your job is to bring every colour back into one unbroken arc.

WHAT IS IN THE BOX
- Three bead sets: a two colour set to learn on, a four colour set for everyday play, and a six colour set that leaves almost nowhere to park a stray bead.
- Three ring sizes, at 22, 30 and 38 beads.
- Four shuffle depths, from a gentle six turns to a thirty two turn tangle.
- Drag a track with your finger and the beads follow it, snapping into their sockets when you let go. Arrow buttons step exactly one socket when you want to be precise.
- A full undo stack, a move counter and a stopwatch.
- Coloured ticks around the outside of each track show where every colour belongs. Switch them off when you want the harder read.

ALWAYS SOLVABLE, AND IT CAN PROVE IT
Boards are never built by scattering the beads at random, because a random arrangement can be impossible to reach by legal turns. Instead the app replays a recorded sequence of genuine rotations away from the solved position, so a solution provably exists for every board you are given.

Hint runs a bidirectional breadth first search from the board in front of you. When it finds a path it tells you how long that path is and lights up the ring that has to move. When a board is too deep for its search budget it says so plainly and hands you the next move of the recorded shuffle played backwards instead, rather than pretending. Reveal plays the whole recorded shuffle back in reverse so you can watch the board unwind.

A RECORD WORTH KEEPING
Solves, fewest moves, quickest times and hint free finishes are kept for each of the nine layouts and stored on your device, so they survive closing the app. Fourteen awards sit waiting in the lid, from your first tidy board to solving at least one board in every layout.

LEARN IT PROPERLY
The How tab runs a small animated board that shows the handover: one track steps around, and you watch the two shared beads change hands. Alongside it is a plain explanation of the move, of why the two tracks can never be tidied one at a time, and of exactly how the hint and reveal features work.
