No one should have to face their darkest moment alone.

STAY was created with one simple mission: to make it easier to reach the people you trust when life feels overwhelming.

In moments of crisis, thinking clearly can be difficult. STAY removes barriers by allowing you to quickly notify and connect with your trusted support network using a single tap.

How STAY works

• Build your trusted support network by adding the people you want STAY to contact.
• Personalize your emergency SOS message.
• When you need help, simply tap STAY.
• Your trusted contacts immediately receive your message and are called one at a time until someone accepts the call.
• If no trusted contact is available, STAY provides quick access to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.

Features

• One-tap SOS activation
• Personalized emergency message
• Instant SMS alerts to trusted contacts
• Sequential calling until someone answers
• Quick access to crisis resources
• Calm, simple interface designed for moments of distress

STAY is designed to strengthen human connection—not replace it. It is not a substitute for therapy, medical care, or emergency services. Instead, it helps bridge the gap between a moment of crisis and the people who care about you most.

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, overwhelming stress, or simply need someone to answer the phone, STAY helps make reaching out easier.

There is always a reason to STAY.

Important: STAY is not intended to replace emergency services or licensed mental health care. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call your local emergency services. If you're in the United States or Canada and experiencing a mental health crisis, you can also contact the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
