We’ve introduced powerful new features and design improvements to make your TARA experience smoother, faster, and more personalized. This update brings enhancements to onboarding, navigation, task management, and personalization, so you can focus on getting things done with less effort.
Guided tour for first-time users

New to TARA? You’ll now see an interactive guided tour the first time you open the app. It walks you through the main features, navigation tips, and even your first task creation. You can skip it if you prefer to explore on your own.
Default Light Mode with blue theme
Your first launch will greet you with a clean Light Mode and calming blue theme. If you prefer a different look, head to Settings to switch themes anytime. Your choice will be remembered for future sessions.
Language selection on first launch
We now let you choose your preferred language right at the start. If you skip this, the app defaults to English, but you can change it anytime in Settings. The interface updates instantly when you switch languages, so you can enjoy TARA in the language you’re most comfortable with.
Post-login dashboard redirection
After you log in, you’ll land directly on your dashboard—no extra steps. Whether you’re creating a task, checking today’s tasks, or managing groups, you can get started faster.
Permission prompts upfront
On your first launch, the app will now request access to your contacts and location. If granted, these features are enabled automatically in Settings. You can still turn them on or off anytime.
Improved dashboard navigation
Dashboard cards now have clear labels and are fully clickable, giving you quick access to Tasks, Categories, and Groups.
Better “My Tasks” section
Your “My Tasks” list now shows the most recent tasks first, with only three visible by default. Tap “View More” to see the full list without scrolling endlessly.
Smarter “Assign To” section
When assigning tasks, you’ll see which of your saved contacts are already using TARA, making collaboration faster and easier.
Group visibility and management
All your created and joined groups now appear on the dashboard. If you have more than the visible limit, use “View More” to see them all. If you have fewer, “Add More” makes creating new groups simple. Groups are sorted so your most recent appear at the top.
Sorting options for tasks and groups
You can now sort both tasks and groups by newest first or oldest first. Your chosen sorting preference stays in place until you change it.
