SoundQR turns short voice recordings into QR codes that can be saved, shared, printed, and scanned back into playable audio.
Record up to 20 seconds, preview the audio, then generate one SoundQR image. Longer clips within the limit may be split into multiple numbered QR codes in the same image. Scan each code with the in-app camera, or load saved QR images from your gallery.
Core audio and QR processing runs on your device. SoundQR uses Codec2 speech compression to fit voice into compact QR payloads and decode SoundQR codes back into audio without uploading your recording.

Features:
- Record voice clips up to 20 seconds
- Generate SoundQR images from recorded speech
- Save QR images to Pictures/SoundQR or share them with other apps
- Scan with the camera or load one or more QR images from the gallery
- Play decoded audio and save it as WAV to Music/SoundQR
- Add optional password protection to QR payloads with AES-256-GCM
- Keep a local history of encoded QR items
- Choose a microphone and adjust mic level for clearer recordings

Recording tips:
SoundQR is optimized for short voice clips. Record close to the microphone, speak clearly, avoid clipping, and use a quiet room or headset microphone when possible. Very noisy, distant, or distorted speech may decode with lower audio quality.

Privacy:
SoundQR's core recording, encoding, decoding, encryption, and history features run locally on your device. Voice recordings, QR payloads, and passwords are not uploaded by the core app. The app may show banner ads through Google AdMob, which can make network requests and process ad-related data according to Google's policies and the SoundQR privacy policy.

No internet account is required for the core audio-to-QR workflow.
