Mak Cosmetics was founded in Peja in 2002 as a company specialized in professional products, and today it continues its mission in close cooperation with hair stylists and international partners, aiming to meet the growing and increasingly competitive demands of the market in Kosovo.

Mak Cosmetics began its journey in 2002 under the leadership of Mr. Kreshnik Rexhepi. After three years, Mrs. Filloreta Sahara Rexhepi joined the company, and together they managed the company Lisap Milano (owned by Nt Arsidit). From 2006 to 2017, thanks to strong work and effective management, the company became one of the most prestigious in the Kosovar market.

By 2018, a need emerged to introduce more advanced products to the Kosovar market. Mr. Kreshnik Rexhepi began searching for higher-quality innovations, particularly products that were just entering the global market — 100% bio products.

After two years of research, Mak Cosmetics became the exclusive distributor of Helen Seward Milano, offering the Kosovar market a new level of quality. These 100% bio products, developed by Helen Seward Milano since 1969, were introduced directly to Kosovo, making Mak Cosmetics one of the few companies with first-hand distribution.

With this agreement, Mak Cosmetics introduced 100% bio products of the highest quality at direct (first-hand) prices for the first time in Kosovo.

In September 2018, Mak Cosmetics also signed four additional agreements, including:

Prestige Make-Up – a prestigious American makeup line with 100% bio quality
Nook Italy
Sensus MAN Italy – a specialized line for men
E-Swim – laser depilation equipment

In January 2019, the company reached agreements with:

Debiase Hair Extension – 100% human hair extensions made in Italy
Sellma Kasumović and her brand MAKE-UP Sellma

In 2020, Mak Cosmetics developed an innovative product:

5D Bleacher, a product patented under Mak Cosmetics

In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, the company faced challenges due to restrictions. As the hairdressing industry was affected, the company adapted by entering the pharmacy and retail market, expanding distribution across pharmacies in Kosovo until beauty salons and aesthetics reopened.

In 2022, the company experienced a revival, organizing more activities and seminars and introducing new products to the market, including:

SkinSystem – a new depilation line
Xanitalia – salon accessories
