Real fish. Real data. Your water.

CREEL is a fishing logbook built by anglers who got tired of guesswork. Log every catch with a photo, GPS pin, and the conditions that mattered — tide, moon, pressure, wind, water temp — and watch your own water come into focus.

LOG IT
Tap Start Fishing to open a trip. Snap your catch at the water for the Verified tier, or log it after the fact. Species, length, conditions — captured in seconds, stored at full precision. You can even import past catches from your photo library, with the date and location read straight from the photo.

PROVE IT
Anything can be typed into a logbook. On CREEL, catches are verified angler-to-angler: real people confirm real fish before they count toward challenges or leaderboards. Verified means verified — no stock photos, no stretched stories.

COMPETE
Join challenges across North Carolina's coastal species — species slams, size challenges, monthly and lifetime boards. Climb leaderboards, earn titles and trophies, and wear them on your posts. Rankings key on length, because you can't stretch a fish. Citation-class boards honor state citation minimums.

PREDICT
• Today's bite times from solunar theory — the moon-driven science behind traditional fishing calendars — plus a 7-day tide, wind, and temperature outlook for any spot you choose.
• Trends that learn your water: the more you log, the more CREEL shows you the tide stage, pressure, time of day, moon, and wind your catches cluster around.
• Tap Predict on the map to see your top spots for a species — backed only by your own logged catches that match the day's conditions, with an honest count of how many catches back the call. These are trends, not guarantees — a guide, not a promise.

FISH WITH YOUR CREW
Spin up a private group with its own feed, challenges, and verifiers. What you share with the crew stays with the crew. Message anglers directly, follow the ones worth watching, and see what's actually biting on a feed of real, verified catches.

YOUR DATA, YOUR CALL
Every catch is private by default. You decide, per fish, what gets shared and with whom. Your exact spots are never published — verification and leaderboards work without revealing where you fish. And if you opt in, your anonymized, aggregated catch data helps build angler-driven pictures of fish stocks — citizen science, from the people actually on the water. CREEL is free, with no ads and no in-app purchases. Built for North Carolina's sounds, surf, and inshore waters — and for any angler who wants their logbook to work as hard as they do.
