Best attacking tips for FC Mobile

A big part of EA Sports FC Mobile is building the best team possible, but eventually, you're going to have to take that team out onto the pitch. Even with the greatest squad ever assembled, if you don't know how to properly attack, that "dream team" will quickly turn into a nightmare. Use these tips when attacking the opponent and you'll be scoring goals with little issue.

Use an attack formation

The first step you should take is in the Team Editing menu, before the match even starts. Designate a formation that encourages offense over defense, like 4-3-3 Attack, 3-5-2, and 4-2-4, all of which load the midfield and attack sides of the field with players. These can strengthen your offensive game, but you'll have to ensure the opposing team doesn't capitalize on weak areas of your defense.

Keep the speed up in the open field

Staying on the attack means constantly pressuring the opponent. You're not going to be able to do that by moving slowly and methodically, so be sure to move quickly with the ball, especially in the open midfield. If the opposing player is giving you space to run, take it! Paths to the goal aren't easy to come by, so a defender playing soft and slow is rife with potential.

Pass, pass, pass

Keeping the ball moving between your players can confuse a defense and eventually open up a scoring opportunity. However, you can't pass wildly without caution, as you never know when an opponent will jump into the passing lane and take the ball. Look for your teammates, determine which pass makes the most sense, and send it their way.

Don't go offside

This may sound obvious, but be mindful of where you are on the field to avoid being offside. Your players will not automatically avoid getting out of position, which can be frustrating if they’re wide open. If you do find yourself in that situation, don’t send them a pass no matter how good of a chance they have. Keeping the play going is more important than risking an offside.

Don't overcharge your shot

The Shoot button in FC Mobile is a power-based system; the longer you hold the button, the more power you'll put behind the shot. You don’t need full power when near the net, as about half of the meter is usually enough to put the ball in the goal. A shot at full power may send the ball into the sky, allowing the other team to take over.
