All about minigames in Township

While Township mostly focuses on creating a town from scratch, it's not the only way to enjoy the game. Tucked within the dairy farms and cottages are some fun minigames. This guide will provide a brief overview of some of the minigames you'll be checking out while you build your Township up. Keep an eye out for all of them.

The Helicopter

One of the first structures you'll unlock in your town is the Helicopter tower, which in addition to being an essential way to earn experience in the early game, is the start of a very fun minigame. The Helicopter minigame is simple: gather the resources requested by the townsperson, and send the helicopter to deliver them.
This one admittedly feels less like a "minigame" than the others on the list, partially because you succeed by gathering materials you would be gathering otherwise. However, the amount of experience and currency granted is worth sinking some time into, so gather up whatever your townsfolk are asking for and ship it off.

The Mine

At level 21, you will gain access to the Mine, where you’ll be digging deep and freeing the metal ores within. Those ores can then be turned into ingots, which you can use to upgrade your factories and other buildings.
Mining is simple: simply tap on one of three different pieces of equipment, tap the space you wish to use the tool on, and watch the mine layers peel away. You'll sometimes unearth extra items and gold along with the aforementioned ore, so keep an eye out for whatever you see poking out of the dirt.

The House of Luck

The House of Luck is a simple minigame – take the clovers you’ve earned by helping your teammates with special tasks over to the House of Luck, and use them to score a chance at a big prize. If you're short a clover or two before your next pull, you can purchase however many you need with T-Cash.
Five clovers will give you a choice of nine different treasure chests, and opening one will bestow the rewards inside upon you. You can win everything from building materials to T-Cash to Laboratory gems via the House of Luck, so it's definitely worth checking out once in a while.

Events

The clipboard icon on the left side of the screen will take you to the Events screen, which will introduce you to a whole separate adventure taking place on a massive map.
Walking around the map requires Energy, and you’ll have 100 Energy points to start with. This Energy will slowly replenish over time. However, there is a way to refill it quickly, and that is with the built-in match-3 minigame.

Match-3

The Match-3 game built into Township grants you some energy every time you win a level, and that energy will help you get through the big Event maps. Simply click on the match-3 icon at the bottom of the screen, and you'll be heading into a new match-3 challenge.
You must match at least three gems together in order to remove them from the board, and complete the level objective to clear the level. Special items are created by matching four or more gems in certain lines or shapes, and you can then use those items to clear even more gems from the board.
