Maximize your settings in Call of Duty: Mobile

Dominating the COD Mobile battle arena requires more than just quick reflexes and great strategy. Your device and its settings should be set to fit your style for a buttery smooth performance. Here’s how you can choose the best settings to improve your performance on the battlefield.

Aiming controls and sensitivity settings

Start by selecting the control mode that suits your playstyle. You may benefit from using Advanced Controls with custom layouts. For aiming, you should use the ADS (Aim Down Sights) setting for weapons like assault rifles for better accuracy at range.
For SMGs, you can switch between ADS and hip fire, depending on how close you like to engage. Shotguns perform best with hip fire due to their close-range nature, while for sniper rifles you should always use ADS for precision.
For sensitivity settings, you'll need to fine-tune based on your device and preference. A good starting point is a Standard Sensitivity of 90-100, with ADS Sensitivity set slightly higher, around 130-150, to allow quick aiming adjustments during intense firefights. If you're using a gyroscope, start with settings around 130-160 for standard movement or lower for more precise ADS adjustments.

Graphics and performance

Your graphics settings can have a significant impact on your gameplay. For the best performance, especially in fast-paced matches, set the Graphics Quality to Low and the Frame Rate to Max. While the game won’t look the best, this will ensure smooth gameplay with higher frames per second (FPS), which can be critical in competitive play.
Turning off resource-heavy settings like Depth of Field and Real-Time Shadows will also help maintain a steady frame rate, making it easier for you to spot and engage enemies.

Additional tweaks

In addition to these changes, you can tweak some other settings based on what ‘feels’ best while playing. Enable Aim Assist if you’re new to the game or need help landing shots more consistently.
The Gyroscope helps aim with the natural motion of your device and can be useful in Battle Royale mode for more fluid camera control. Lastly, setting your Field of View (FOV) to around 75 might offer a balanced view, allowing you to spot enemies without compromising too much on your surroundings.
By starting with these settings and gradually adapting them to your liking, you can significantly improve your accuracy, reaction time, and overall gameplay experience in Call of Duty Mobile.
