How to plan an unforgettable event with Partiful

Ready to leave cluttered group chats and clunky e-vites in the past, and genuinely get friends excited for your next get-together? Say hello to Partiful, your handy party planning sidekick that does all the heavy lifting so you can focus on what really matters: enjoying the party.

Signing up for Partiful is quick and simple – just add your phone number to receive updates for parties you host or attend, add a profile picture so friends can spot you on the app, and indicate your birthday.

Tap the plus icon to create your first event from scratch. At the top of the screen, write a fun title that tells your guests what to expect, like “Book Club Reunion 2025” or “Mark’s Surprise 30th.” Whatever the occasion, Partiful has a template to match your vibe – just select themes or effects from the collection in the lower-right corner.

Next, add your event details, such as the date, location, and RSVP deadline. You can even decide if guests can invite friends, add a playlist to set the mood, or add co-hosts to help you manage the event. Once you’re happy, tap “Save” in the upper-right corner to proceed to the event page.

Drawing a blank on how to get started? Tap “Ask the Party Genie” on your home screen and select a mood like “chill” or “besties” to get some fun theme inspiration. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can even roll the dice and tap “Randomize.”

Your event page is your party’s info hub. Tap “Invite” to copy a shareable link that’s ready for texts and emails. Alternatively, sync your contacts to send a direct invite to friends who are already on the app.

Once RSVPs start rolling in, tap “Text Blast” to send out reminders and messages to invitees. You can even send personalized messages depending on their RSVP responses – like telling those who responded “No” that they will be missed, or reminding those who replied “Maybe” to finalize their response.

Under each event, hosts and guests can upload photos to a shared album. Everyone can share snaps while getting ready, cute reunion pics, or casual candids from the event itself. It’s a great way for everyone to look back on all the fun times together.
