Master combat with Leon in Brawl Stars

If you’re looking to try an Assassin-class Brawler in Brawl Stars, then.Leon is an interesting character to play. His weapon has some unique attributes that you should consider, while his defenses and HP are right in the middle of the pack. He has a learning curve to learn to play well, but getting a few reps with him will make his potential quickly obvious.

Leon is a loner who doesn't like to hang out with other Brawlers. It's that lone wolf mentality that inspired him to develop one of his key abilities: turning invisible at a moment's notice.

Leon dons a green hoodie that looks like a chameleon, while also always enjoying a lollipop. As a Legendary Brawler, he's one of the last characters you'll unlock, although you can unlock him early by spending Gems.

Leon's standard attack Spinner Blades, propels four projectiles toward the enemy over an impressive distance. However, the farther from Leon the blades travel, the less damage they'll do when they connect, so firing them from a closer is ideal.

His Super, Smoke Bomb, turns him completely invisible for a full six seconds. You can use that six-second window to your advantage, and stage a quick getaway when things get too hot in the middle of battle. But beware that his invisibility does end early if he attacks while the move is active. With the Lingering Smoke gear, this effect lasts for two more seconds.

Leon's Gadgets offer him different ways to outmaneuver his opponents. His Clone Projector creates a decoy copy of himself to distract foes, while Lollipop Drop creates a small area of effect for a limited time that hides both him and his teammates from enemies.

His Star Power choices enhance his getaway move Smoke Bomb into a game-changing ability. Smoke Trails increases Leon's movement speed by 30% while he's invisible, while Invisiheal restores 1360 health per second while the invisibility is active. Whether it's a faster getaway or fast healing, Leon's Star Powers make Smoke Bomb an explosive Super.

Also, his Hypercharge perk pairs very well with both his Star Powers. When Limbo is active and Leon activates his Super, he can attack while staying invisible, while getting a 20% speed, a 25% damage, and a 25% shield boost. A Smoke Bomb activation in Hypercharge mode with Invisiheal equipped can turn this small Assassin into an unbeatable machine.

Leon is best suited for team play. He can linger behind an ally engaging with an enemy, and then swoop in from close range to make sure they go down. If an attempted beatdown is thwarted, he can simply Smoke Bomb his way out of danger.

Leon does move quickly, but his moderate HP makes him a sort of glass cannon. If you charge ahead as Leon, you’ll be quickly taken down. Drop in and out of battles involving teammates, clean up the mess when you can, use the Smoke Bomb wisely, and you'll be sitting pretty atop the standings when all is said and done.
