Tips for playing Draco in Brawl Stars

The cast of Brawl Stars is an eclectic bunch, with all sorts of characters to choose from. Some look like people you might see out in the real world, while others have unique and awesome designs.
As far as cool-looking Brawlers go, you'd be hard-pressed to find one that looks cooler than Draco. He wields a guitar and summons a sentient inflatable dragon to ride on during battle. It helps that his abilities are super powerful too. There's a lot to love with this rockin' dragon rider, and this guide will help you understand why.

Who Is Draco?

Draco comes to battle donning a shining dragon-shaped armor, with his trusty red electric guitar at his side. With a sly grin and an explosive personality, Draco makes an immediate impression as soon as you select him.
His in-game bio says that he "promises a show-stopping finale every night," showcasing that his guitar is for more than just a hobby. While it's unclear what sort of band he's in, one thing is clear: every note he plays is cranked up to 11.

Draco's attacks

Draco's basic attack, Lance Stab, fires a piercing beam of electricity that damages enemies in front of him. The attack usually deals low damage but in the last 30% of his range, the damage and his Super charge rate are doubled.
His Super, Dragon Solo, sees him board his trusty fire-breathing dragon mount. The scaly summon spews flames, and increases Draco's movement speed and damage reduction stats while he is aboard. His Super is charged every time he takes damage, and it takes about 2.4x Draco's max health of damage to charge his Super completely.

Draco's build options

Draco's Gadgets offer a bit of defensive strategy, though they do so indirectly. Upper Cut makes the next Lance Stab attack send every enemy it hits into the air for a short time, interrupting their attacks and giving you a moment to breathe. Last Stand, on the other hand, makes it so Draco cannot fall under one HP for two seconds, which could mean the difference between winning and losing.
His Star Power abilities, meanwhile, give you a choice between a more powerful basic attack or an added boost to his super. Expose will prevent any opponent damaged with Lance Stab from hiding in tall grass—and increase how much damage they take while unable to hide.
On the other hand, Shredding adds instant healing to the next Dragon Solo activation, which means the next time Draco summons his trusty dragon helper, he'll get some extra health on top of the other buffs.

Draco, sadly, does not have the ability to gain a Hypercharge buff, so his build potential ends at Level 10 for now.

Best Draco strategies

Draco is one of the most versatile, complete Brawlers in the entire game. There's not a single scenario where he couldn't prove to be a major part of the game plan, whether it's a solo match or one involving teams.
Lance Stab's ability to expose enemies and/or launch them into the air makes it a potent basic attack in its own right, but once Dragon Solo is activated, Draco becomes an instant problem for every enemy around him. No matter which mode you play next, Draco deserves some consideration from you.
