To start selling, tap the camera icon at the bottom of the home screen to select the photos of the item you want to sell or take a photo right in the app. Then, set your price and fill out all the details, including as much information as you can about the brand, size, and condition. All set? Hit “List” and then sit back and wait for the likes and offers to come rolling in.

Keep up with the lingo. On Poshmark you’ll often see terms like NWT, BNIB, and NWOT. They simply mean New With Tags, Brand New In Box, and New Without Tags. Use these terms to add value to your listings if they apply.

Ever find the perfect vintage pair of jeans only to realize they’re not your size? Use a custom search filter to avoid disappointment. Tap the profile icon on the bottom-right corner of the home screen, scroll to “My Size,” and enter your info. When you search, scroll through the filters on the top of the screen, tap on “Size,” and select “My Size” to only see listings that are right for you.

Tap the heart icon next to listings to save them to “My Likes.” Plus, get exclusive seller discounts and reduced shipping on listings you like. The more listings you add, the more tailored recommendations you get.

Poshmark truly feels like a marketplace where you can try your luck at bargaining and see if you can snag that jacket you’re eyeing at an even bigger discount. Click on a listing and select “Offer” on the bottom of the screen. A seller might accept or counteroffer your price. Either way, don’t let the thrill of negotiating keep you from your dream outfit.

Not only can you buy and sell used items, but also participate in a community of fellow thrifters and bond over your passion for fashion. Scroll down on your app homepage and join a live Posh Show, with themes like designer clothes, funky patterns, sustainable brands, and so on. See items before sellers post them, make offers, ask questions, and react to listings – all in real time.

Bundle and save – buy multiple items from the same seller to get better prices and save on shipping. Do something good for your wallet and the planet.

If something you bought wasn’t the right vibe, Reposh it. Simply click on “My Purchases” and hit “Reposh” under the original listing for the item you want to resell. It’s a quick way to put something back on the market and make buyer’s remorse a thing of the past. If there are any changes to the condition of the item since you bought it, make sure to write an update in the description box.
