Your guide to the Bermuda map in Free Fire

Free Fire offers a variety of maps to drop into, each with their own unique locations, teeming with loot and places to sneak up on an unsuspecting opponent. Knowing the ins and outs of each map could be the key to your victory, so you should study all of them in detail. Here we're going to focus on Free Fire's first map: Bermuda.
Bermuda has seen the most action in Free Fire's history, and if you're a longtime player, you probably know it like the back of your hands. But if you're just getting into Free Fire, we can help you out. We have listed everything you need to know about the map here – from the most busy locations to places you could drop in to give yourself some time before seeking out a skirmish.

All about Bermuda

Being the first map ever created for the Free Fire, Bermuda is the most "basic" of the game's locales. The forest-themed map has a nice mix of dense wooded areas, urban centers with multiple buildings, and flat open land for finding enemies from a distance.
While it doesn't have special features like the anti-grav chambers of NexTerra, Bermuda serves as an ideal training ground for new players thanks to its basic layout. Play as many matches as you need to practice and master your strategy here before venturing to other maps and trying your luck.

Bermuda hot spots

Hot spots are combat zones — full of both loot and enemies. If you're looking for copious amounts of loot or inviting early firefights, dropping into a hot zone would be good for you.
If you want to start fast in Bermuda, here are a few suggestions on where your skydiving should take you:
  • Peak – Peak is not only close to the center of the Bermuda map, it is also the highest point on the map. Both the house and surrounding area is teeming with loot, so drop as close as you can to a weapon and start hunting.
  • Mill – Just north of Peak lies Mill, a massive warehouse surrounded by flat ground with plenty of obstacles in it. Landing near the building makes the most sense, as you don't want to be caught out in the open if a player with a weapon finds you before you can defend yourself.
  • Factory – To the south of Peak is an old unused Factory stuffed with loot. It was the most popular landing place in Free Fire for a time thanks to its loot output, and is still preferred by many. But with the loot come the enemy players, so drop at the Factory only if you think you're ready, otherwise you'll be seeing the lobby screen a lot.

Low-key landing locations

You don't have to begin every match with a massive firefight. If you want to land somewhere, get your bearings, and hunt for some loot before taking on other players, you can stay away from the hot zones. This is a solid strategy, but it does put you at risk of being far out of the safe zone when the countdown begins.
Here are a few places you can land to avoid the action:
  • Graveyard – Graveyard sits in the northwestern corner of the map, with gravestones lining the flat land and an old house at the center. There's enough loot here to get you started, and it's close enough to the center of the map that getting to the first safe zone shouldn't be too difficult for you.
  • Rim Nam Village – This water-based village in the southwestern corner of the map does not have too much direct activity, but it's loot output makes it an enticing starting point. It even has an old mysterious submarine to make things interesting. Be warned, however, as only one or two other players landing with you will make this a tough escape thanks to its narrow walkways.
  • Riverside – Riverside sits on the northern half of the map on opposite sides of a big bridge. It works better as a low-key drop spot.

Best Bermuda strategies

Bermuda is your training ground to learn everything you can about Free Fire. Its locations are easy to figure out, and there aren't any one-off obstacles that can complicate things unexpectedly.
Once you have the mechanics of the game down, you can figure out a favorite place to land and go there for most of your matches. This will allow you to familiarize yourself with the terrain in whichever direction the safe zone takes you, and before long you'll also know Bermuda like the back of your hand.
