Here's how to level up your clan in Clash of Clans

As the name of the game suggests, Clash of Clans is all about building up your clan to the most powerful level possible. However, the path to building your clan into a powerhouse isn't set in stone. There are multiple ways to get your clan to the top.

This guide will tell you about the main ways to earn Clan XP to level up your clan, whether it's through direct battle with other clans or challenges found in the different game modes. Keep these options in mind, and you'll go a long way in helping your clan succeed.

Before joining a clan or participating in a Clan War, take time to build up your camp and make sure it is strong. You won't be able to contribute much to any clan you join if your camp isn't up to snuff.

Build as many defensive structures as you can, recruit and train troops to send into battle, and brew powerful spells so you can become a force for your clan right from the get-go. That way, when you win, you can enjoy War Win rewards as often as possible.

Once you’ve joined a clan, the main gameplay mode for dueling with other clans is Clan Wars. Here, clans face off to try and earn more stars through battle within a 47-hour timeframe – 23 hours to prepare, and 24 hours to attack.

The matchmaking system will pair you against a rival clan of similar level and power, so you should never feel outmatched when you find an opponent. Clan Wars range from five-on-five battles all the way up to 50-versus-50, depending on the size of the feuding clans. The bigger the Clan War, the more rewards and experience will be earned upon victory.

Throughout the week, you can help your clan build its Clan Capital, earning it experience, troops, buildings, and more. If your Capital Hall reaches level 2 or higher by the end of the week, it becomes eligible to participate in Raid Weekends. During this time, you can raid the Capital of another clan, but enemies can also raid your capital.

Capital Raids are unique in that any damage caused by one clan member to an opposing Capital will be permanent, so another clan member can follow up and destroy any damaged buildings immediately. Destroying an enemy Capital will earn Capital Gold as well as Raid Medals for your Clan, which can be used to purchase cosmetics and other rewards from the Trader in your town.

Clan Games offer a great alternative for earning some Clan XP. Here, you can take up challenges to complete within a limited timeframe and earn rewards based on how long a challenge takes and how difficult it is to complete.

These challenges apply to every aspect of the game, so no matter how you choose to play, there’s always a Clan Game challenge for you to complete. As such, Clan Game challenges can take a number of forms.
