Candy Crush Saga features several boosters and items that can really help you along your candy-filled adventure. Some can be used in the middle of a level to get you out of a tricky spot, while others are boosters that can be activated before the stage begins. This guide will walk you through some of the best boosters and items that you’ll encounter in the game.

The Candy Bomb is one of the most powerful boosts in the game. Once swapped, it removes every other candy of the same colour from the board. You can also multiply its power by using it with another special candy. For example, switch it with a striped candy to turn every candy of that colour into a striped one. Better still, swap two Colour Bombs to eliminate every candy on the board at once.

The Lollipop Hammer lets you break a single candy square without using a turn. Need a candy moved to set off a big chain? Break out the Lollipop Hammer.

A pink Coconut Wheel candy will appear in a random space on the board. When broken, it rolls over multiple candies, which turns them into striped candies and sets them off to break multiple rows.

Free Switch lets you move two candies instantly without using one of your turns. It's a free move that lets you continue your strategy without having to worry about resetting the board.

When matched, the Jelly Fish spawns multiple tiny candy fish, which hone in on squares covered in jelly and eat them instantly. If there’s no jelly, it will remove other candies – often ones that are difficult to reach or essential to your objectives for that level.
