Everything about Wukong in Garena Free Fire

Let’s talk about one of the most versatile characters in your roster – Wukong. He is a mechanical monkey man named after the main character of the classic Chinese story Journey to the West.

Wukong is an 'AI Battle Robot' with a metallic body and a head adorned with white hair mixed with a shocking red. His yellow eyes glow in his red face and he brandishes a bo staff during his idle stance – though we can't figure out why he doesn't use it in the middle of a battle.

Not much is known about Wukong’s origins, as his age and birth date are both listed as 'N/A'. His official in-game biography isn't helpful either, as it simply says he's 'a monkey that looks like a human being'. He was apparently kidnapped and experimented on by the FF organisation. In those experiments, they implanted an AI system into his brain which led to him gaining human-like intelligence.

Wukong's Camouflage ability allows him to transform into a bush and hide uninterrupted for a full 15 seconds. This serves two main purposes: the obvious one of hiding from danger, along with aiding a surprise attack on an unsuspecting enemy.

But beware, the cooldown time of Camouflage is 200 seconds, which is an eternity when running from enemies on the battlefield. However, the cooldown timer resets whenever you eliminate an enemy after using it. If you try an ambush, one successful elimination will immediately reactivate the ability again.

Wukong is at his best when used for a sneak attack. If the timing is opportune and you have a loadout that you're happy with – or if you've found a piece of loot on the ground that other people might want – find the safe zone, break out the camo and wait.

When you're not in stealth mode, Wukong is a standard character, so follow your best strategies and gather as much loot as you can. If you find an opponent and are able to take them out during the bush's cooldown, then you can get right back to hiding out instead of waiting for the cooldown to end.
