How to team up with friends in PUBG Mobile

Playing a solo PUBG Mobile match can be a thrilling experience, but sometimes, you may want to drop onto the map with some friends. This guide will show you the different ways to match up with players online, whether they're longtime pals or first-time matches.

Auto Matching is your friend

If you're logging on for a solo session but still want to play in a group, you can try Auto Matching. Available in the drop-down menu in the top right-hand corner of the mode select screen, this feature will set you up with other players looking for a team. Once the match is over, you can choose to stick with that group for another round or retry Auto Matching for some new allies.

The Party menu

The Party menu is a list of people that you can easily select to join your team for a match. On the main menu, look for a rectangular box containing smaller square icons on the top-left corner of the screen. Tapping the box opens the Party menu, where you'll be able to find three core groups of players to choose from – Friends, Recent and Clan.
Your Friends list is where you can find people that you've already connected with in PUBG Mobile. The Recent list contains players that you've recently been matched with using the Auto Matching feature. Finally, the Clan option is where you can find other online members of whichever in-game clan you've joined.

Spread the word

Within the Party menu, select the 'Invite to team' button to share a link to the PUBG Mobile app via text message or social media post. You can use this to get your friends to join you online, as well as to invite potential new teammates to experience everything that PUBG has to offer. Once they join you in the game, create a local team and invite your friends using a unique game code.
