One of the newest faces on the battlefield in Free Fire is Lila, a blue-haired battler whose skill set puts a unique focus on the Gloo mechanic. This guide will walk you through everything there is to know about Lila.

Her ability to use Gloo to affect an opponent's performance, while also gaining additional Gloo Walls, makes her a formidable foe with a major defensive advantage.

Lila is a 19-year-old street artist from La Luna. She creates 'innovative Gloo inventions', as seen by the image of her working with the strange substance. Her bio calls her a 'cool, spry girl' with 'excellent parkour skills and a playful nature'. She and her penguin companion, Mr Waggor – who also has a Gloo-themed ability – enjoy outsmarting their foes together with clever pranks.

Lila's ability, Gloo Strike, is a passive ability that needs no activation during a match. The ability is tied to rifles specifically, so if you're playing as Lila, be sure to find a rifle of some kind before exploring the map.

When Lila damages an enemy or a vehicle with a rifle, Gloo Strike reduces their movement speed by 10 percent (for enemies) or 80 percent (for vehicles). If an enemy is then knocked down while that Gloo Strike debuff is active, they'll remain frozen in place for three seconds and you'll earn an extra Gloo Wall for defence later on.

Make sure you incorporate Gloo Walls into your strategy while playing as Lila. Lila's ability to gain more Gloo charges than any other character will give you added protection during a match.

Also, don't use any type of gun other than rifles if you haven't reinforced them yet. Lila's ability depends on successful shots from rifles specifically, which means that any other type of gun turns her into a character with no ability. Don't let that happen; find a rifle and stick with it.
