Learn about alliances in Last War: Survival Game

Building an army may seem like a lonely job in Last War: Survival Game, but there are ways that you can partner up with your real-world friends in order to boost your armies even further. A key way to do this is through alliances, which can open up multiple new avenues for earning rewards and gaining resources.
Here, we're going to explore everything there is to know about the Alliance system in Last War: Survival Game. After reading through this guide, you'll be able to build an alliance that will make other players envious.

Alliances in Last War: Survival Game

Alliances are groups of up to 100 people who come together to team up, earn extra rewards and take part in special activities. By joining an alliance, you will gain access to a special shop front where you can purchase needed supplies, claim gifts, unlock other alliance features and more.
Alliance members can also help you out in a pinch by increasing the healing speed of injured troops, sending reinforcements to defend bases and capturing cities in order to boost the rest of the alliance. It's not a requirement, but joining an alliance definitely offers a huge amount of benefits.

Joining an alliance

Choosing an alliance to join is simple: Tap on the Alliance icon in the bottom-right corner of the main screen and search for the alliance that you wish to join. You may need to enter a specific code if you've received one from a friend, or you can search for the alliance by name or other factors.
Once you find the alliance that you're looking for, simply tap its name and then tap Join. If it's an invite-only alliance, the request to join will be sent to the alliance leader. If it's open, however, then congratulations, you'll be in straight away.

Alliance activities

There are a few actions unique to alliance members that you can take a look at while you're playing, from waging wars on other alliances to maintaining a special alliance city. All of these options are located within the Alliances tab on the main screen, so make sure that you check it often for new activities.
When you're finished with alliance warfare, you can also sneak a peek at your Alliance's shop for a good deal, donate to tech advancements that will increase your alliance's power and monitor your contributions to the alliance. Keep an eye on what you've brought to the team – the better you perform, the higher your rank could be before long.

Alliance ranks

There are five ranks for each member in your alliance, from R5 to R1. Each rank specifies how trustworthy a person is among the other members, while also bestowing extra responsibilities and actions on higher ranks.
Ranks and their corresponding perks
  • R1: R1-ranked members are the newest recruits to the squad with no additional benefits other than inclusion in alliance events.
  • R2: R2 members are established in the alliance, but can be easily removed due to lack of performance or extended periods of inactivity.
  • R3: R3 members usually form the bulk of the coalition. They've been a part of the group for a while and they regularly participate in alliance activities.
  • R4: R4 members are 'senior' alliance members, who not only participate in regular events, but also help out other members in times of need. R4 members can also be assigned to special roles, like warlord and butler, which offer additional perks.
  • R5: R5 is the leader of the Alliance, and most of the time it's the person who founded the Alliance to begin with.
