All about alliances in Whiteout Survival

As you continue to increase your camp's abilities in Whiteout Survival, the experience may start to feel a little lonely. It's true that there are plenty of characters working for you in your camp, but a friend or two in-game to help in your quest would be a welcome addition. That's where alliances come in.
This guide will teach you all about alliances in Whiteout Survival, from what they are to how you can join or create one with a few quick taps. Alliances can make a huge difference in your experience in this Arctic adventure, so joining one can be a big deal in the long run.

What are alliances in Whiteout Survival?

Alliances are Whiteout Survival's version of 'clans' or 'guilds'. They're a large community of players coming together to complete quests, earn rewards and more as a team. Some alliances only feature a handful of players, while others feature up to 100 players working alongside each other.
The alliance feature only unlocks after you've levelled up your base camp a bit. Once your Furnace hits Level 7, the Alliance banner will appear on-screen, and you'll be able to have a look at alliances for yourself.

Joining an alliance

Once the Alliance banner appears, you can join whichever alliance you wish – if you meet their requirements. You’ll see a list of available alliances in the Alliance Power section, along with the number of players currently involved and the total power of those players. You can also search for a specific alliance via the search bar above the Alliance list.
If you've applied to join an alliance or if a friend has already invited you to join one they created, you can have a look at them in the Invites/Request tab right next to the Join Alliance tab. All invites will be posted there as well as the statuses of any Alliance Requests you have out at the moment, so keep checking back to see where you stand.

Creating an alliance of your own

If there simply isn't an alliance that fits your needs, you're not out of luck. You can create one of your own and invite anyone you wish to join you. The Create Alliance tab to the left of the Join Alliance tab will get you to the creation tool and you can start making the alliance you want.
Information that you’ll need to create an alliance
  • A name for your alliance
  • An official 'Alliance Decree' where you lay out your plans for your alliance
  • Recruitment settings – either letting players join automatically or requiring an invite
  • Supported languages for your group of players

Perks of joining an alliance

Alliances in Whiteout Survival give you access to a range of valuable perks that can only be found after joining or creating one. Some of those perks include access to alliance-only questlines, the ability to invade rival alliances for extra rewards and a line of defence against those same rivals if need be.
The amount of rewards you earn depends on the strength of your alliance territory, as well as the structures within. The more powerful your territory is, the better suited you'll be to fend off attackers and earn as many rewards as you can for your alliance and, more importantly, your own base camp.
