Uncover the top Tanks in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has a massive roster of over 130 heroes spread out across 6 different roles to choose from. Obviously, it's a lot of choice. If you're just getting started, the amount of options – coupled with the roles they fill – can be overwhelming.

Gloo, the swamp spirits

Gloo appears as a big pile of goo, which may seem a little useless, but his bulbous Tank body gives him many advantages that you can make use of. His 'Split' skill allows him to divide himself into smaller things. It also means that he can offer better damage capability and faster HP regeneration. He is excellent at crowd control as he can slow down enemies and transfer received damage.

Johnson

In a game filled with magic users and fantasy swordsmen, Johnson's hulking mechanical body stands out. The former racer uses magical wrenches and electromagnetism, and actually transforms into a car to deal his high-impact damage, offering some of the most unique gameplay in the entire game. Take Johnson for a spin and you'll see what we mean.

Esmeralda

Being a mage hybrid, Esmeralda is a unique Tank with high durability and magical prowess at the same time. Her two unique weapons, Stardust and Frostmoon, can create shields and slow down opponents while dealing damage. During her ultimate, she can teleport right next to a weakened enemy for a quick kill. The Tank/Mage combo isn't common, but Esmeralda makes a case that maybe it should be.

Tigreal

Tigreal, wielding his massive hammer, is the prototypical Tank archetype. He's sturdy and powerful, and his special abilities deal damage to multiple targets at once. His ultimate attack even pulls in surrounding enemies, offering them no escape from the pain he's about to inflict. If you want the Mobile Legends version of the 'classic' Tank experience, Tigreal is your guy.

Gatotkaca

Gatotkaca is a Tank/Fighter hybrid character with high melee and defence stats, making him a fantastic choice for a scrap. His passive ability sees him get stronger as he takes damage, first through defence buffs, then through increased Rage. If you just want to punch enemies in the face, choose Gatotkaca – he's built for the job.
