You’ll need smart team-building, resource management, and battle strategies to stay ahead. Here’s how you can maximize your efficiency and dominate battles.

High-power heroes are great, but synergy is what sets winners apart. Your frontline tank should absorb most damage while your backline deals it. You’ll also want a dedicated healer to increase your survivability.

Pay attention to elemental strengths and weaknesses. Bringing the right color counters can turn the tide in tough fights. Heroes with buffs, debuffs, or mana control can outplay brute-force strategies, so keep an eye out for them.

Tile matching in Empires & Puzzles isn't just about clearing the board. Strategic combos can maximize damage and charge your specials faster. One key technique is matching tiles where they won’t hit enemies to generate more mana for your heroes. You might hear this referred to as “ghosting tiles.”

You may also want to avoid feeding the enemy mana by prioritizing empty lanes or weak enemies. Lastly, save your Diamonds and Dragon Attack for crucial moments when you need burst damage or to clear the board efficiently.

You can even try to get easier matchups in raids by intentionally lowering your trophies. Though losing matches on purpose might not seem like a winning strategy, the resource tradeoff in the hero chest could be worth it.

Instead of spreading XP across many heroes, focus on your core heroes and max them out first. Color-match your training heroes to speed up the leveling process and get extra XP.
