All the power-ups in Fishdom

Power-ups are the key to success in Fishdom. They help you clear obstacles, complete objectives, and rack up high scores. Whether you're setting off chain reactions with Firecrackers or wiping the board clean with a Warhead, knowing how each power-up works and when to use them can make all the difference.

A Firecracker causes a small but mighty blast, and clears everything within its one-tile radius. Match four tiles of the same color in a line to create a Firecracker. It’s ideal for breaking tricky obstacles and setting off chain reactions.

Lightning can be the ultimate board-clearer. You’ll find it at the bottom corner of the screen during a level, and it recharges whenever you deploy a power-up. Once it’s fully recharged, it’ll appear on a random tile on the board and you can swipe it with any adjacent tile to wipe out all other tiles of that type. Pair it with another power-up for more devastating effects.

Bombs create a big explosion and a bigger impact. Match five tiles in an L or T shape to form a Bomb, and detonate it to clear obstacles in a two-tile radius. It’s perfect for tackling spread-out obstacles or clustered challenges.

A rare and powerful item, the Warhead clears all tiles in its four-tile radius on the board at once. You can get it by matching seven or more tiles of a single type at once. It can also be earned through special events or boosters, making it a game-changer when used wisely.

Dynamite is a major upgrade to the Bomb. Match six tiles in an L or T shape to create one, and remove all blocks in a three-tile radius. Use it strategically to clear tough sections of the board.

A special event power-up, the Energy Blast clears a random pattern of tiles across the board, making it useful for breaking up tricky layouts. While unpredictable, it can help clear obstacles in hard-to-reach spots. In some levels, it replaces the Lightning power-up and can be charged up and activated in the same way.

Power-ups don’t just work solo. You can combine them for amplified effects. A Bomb and Lightning together will do massive damage. Two Lightning power-ups combined can cause a total board reset. Even a Firecracker and Bomb combo can help clear obstacles more efficiently. Experiment with combinations to clear levels faster and rack up huge scores.
