Learn how the Brawl Stars Brawl Pass works

The Brawl Pass offers extra content and items such as currencies, skins, power-up items, and more.

This guide will walk you through the basics of the Brawl Pass, including the items offered, the length of the pass, and the different ways you can make progress as you play. There are dozens of items to earn, and with this guide, you should be able to get through the pass without any issues.

What is the Brawl Pass?

The Brawl Stars Brawl Pass is a battle pass that offers 50 levels of items during each individual season. The list of available item rewards includes Bling currency for purchasing skins and other cosmetics, Character Credits which unlock more Brawlers, and Starr Drops — random item drops that start at a certain rarity and can potentially be upgraded before they're opened.
Each new in-game season of Brawl Stars comes with its own Brawl Pass, and each pass offers in-game items unique to that season's theme. Once the season expires, the Brawl Pass expires along with it, and any premium skins or other items must be earned through other means — usually by purchasing them separately with Gems.

Making progress through the Brawl Pass

The easiest way to make progress through the Brawl Pass is by playing the game. Each in-game mode will offer some XP toward the Brawl Pass whether you win your match or not. You will earn a slight bump in XP depending on how well you perform, of course, but you can earn some XP simply by starting a match. Don't forget the XP Doubler items too, which can help you progress even faster.
After earning 250 Trophies, you'll unlock the Quest menu. The menu gives you specific tasks which, upon completion, will unlock a burst of XP all at once. These quests are the best way to get through the Brawl Pass, so be sure to keep an eye on both the daily quests and weekly quests to see what you can do to maximize your XP earnings in each match you play.

Brawl Pass rewards

The Brawl Pass offers two main paths — one free and the other premium. Each path offers a different reward for each level. Brawl Passes go up to Level 50, with the most premium item saved for the final level — for example, the ‘Gods And Monsters Pass’ in Season 28 offered a special Medusa skin for Emz and multiple colors toward the end of the pass.
Rewards don't stop at the end of a Brawl Pass either. For every 1600 XP earned toward a completed Brawl Pass, a Starr Drop is unlocked and can be opened on the spot. While direct control over which rewards are earned is lost, you're still able to earn something if you manage to get through the Brawl Pass before the season is over. Who knows, maybe you'll get lucky and unlock an Epic-rarity item.
