Here's how Events work in Royal Match

With Events coming at you fast in Royal Match, it's good to figure out how to approach your next few match states with the current Event (or two) in mind.
Here, we'll walk you through all there is to know about Events, from how they work to when you can unlock them and more. We'll also list a few examples of Events you'll find as you play through the game, and what to do when the event kicks off.

Events are timed challenges that will appear as you complete levels. A window will pop up describing the event, and you can choose to accept it right away or activate it later. Once activated, you'll have a set amount of time to complete whatever challenge the event is centered around. If you’re at the top of the Event leaderboard when it ends, you'll score additional rewards.

- King's Cup pits 50 players against one another in a quest to collect cups by finishing standard levels. As you collect cups, your rank will increase, and at the end of the session, whoever ranks highest will receive the extra rewards.

- Team Battle works similarly to King's Cup, in that you'll be collecting shields by completing levels. However, instead of single players, 20 Teams are matched up, with not only the top team earning extra rewards. The top three players from each team will snag extra rewards as well.

- Royal League is what awaits players after the castle has been completely restored. By competing in a Royal League, you will match up against 19 other players in a quest to collect crowns by completing stages.

- Propeller Madness focuses on the Propeller item, which is created by matching four like gems in a box formation. By creating Propellers, you'll reach certain milestones in the Event, and once you've hit all the milestones, you'll win the Grand Prize.

- In Magic Cauldron, you must complete levels in order to find the correct elixir formula. Find 10 formulas before the timer runs out to win the Event and collect the prize.

- Book of Treasure tasks you with breaking as many red match gems--or books--as possible with a time limit.

- In Royal Pass, completing levels and earning points will unlock more reward tiers. There are two lines--free and paid--and both have unique rewards for each tier level.

- Sky Race is a battle between five players to see who can complete levels the fastest. Performers are rewarded based on where they finished in the event.
