The main Brawl Stars events you can participate in

Underneath its cute exterior, Brawl Stars is a deep game that offers diverse modes and events, from straightforward deathmatch-style matches to themed events. We’ll go over the most common game modes you'll find in Brawl Stars to help you find the one you like. Check them out during your next Brawl Stars session.

Showdown is the most straightforward event, where you and nine other players are locked in a map until one victor emerges. The mode has a Duo Showdown variant as well, where you can partner up with a friend and crush the others to seal your win. Whether you're going alone or with a friend, Showdown is a terrific way to start playing.

Duels are a neat spin on "team battles" in Brawl Stars. In the event, you will face another player with three Brawlers and then take them into battle in 1v1 battles. You'll lose a duel if all of your Brawlers are knocked out before your opponent's. You should go for Brawlers like Edgar or Buzz as they charge their Supers quickly and give high burst damage if you're just starting out.

Brawl Ball event is soccer turned into a Brawl Stars-style slugfest, as two teams of three try to score goals while also pummeling each other into dust. The ball rests in the center of the map, and your team must capture it and move it to score a goal while the other team tries to bombard you into submission. While this is fun as a solo act, Brawl Ball is best enjoyed with your friends.

Much like Brawl Ball, Basket Brawl is a basketball-themed Brawl Stars event. Here, your team must collect a basketball and shoot for big points; three points behind the line and two points from inside the box. The first team to five points wins, but the twist is that the hoops are not stationary, so scoring will take more than just an auto-aim on your end!

Gem Grab puts two teams onto a large-size map, with the middle occupied by a Gem mine that spits out gems every 10 seconds. Your team needs to collect 10 gems and hold them for at least 15 seconds to win. Gem Grab is a fun and truly unique spin on 3v3 competitive multiplayer. Your best bet at winning would be assembling a team of one aggressive, one gem carrier, and one support Brawler.

Paint Brawl is a 3v3 mode where a ball filled with paint is positioned in the center of the map. Your team must roll the ball across the entire field, avoiding enemy attacks and covering up as much of the map as possible. But be careful you don't get eliminated in a huge explosion of paint. This is the mode to pick if you're looking for something more wacky.
