PUBG Mobile has a few different weapon groups to choose from, and knowing their strengths and weaknesses is essential to becoming the best. Check out this guide to each of the main firearm categories, and you'll be ready for victory the next time you drop.

Assault rifles are standard-issue mid-range weapons. They're great when you have some distance from the opponent, but are less effective when you’re too close or too far away. Shotguns are designed for you to be up close and personal with your opponents. Picking up a shotgun can be a huge boon late in a match, especially considering how small the safe zone becomes as the player count begins to fall. An S1897 or M1014 in your hands while in the final five players may just be your ticket to victory.
