All the maps in Brawl Stars' Showdown mode

Brawl Stars offers many different battle arenas and game modes, but Showdown is the purest form of Brawl Stars combat. Ten players – either individually or in five teams of two – enter the arena, and only one will be left standing. Any advantage you can give yourself going into each match could be a big help, and that includes knowing the terrain.
There are currently 12 maps in rotation for both Solo and Duo Showdown modes. All these maps share the same sandy desert look, but their overall layouts are unique to them, and knowing what map you're loading into is crucial to victory. If you're looking to throw down in Showdown, this is the guide for you.
  • Dark Passage - Dark Passage features two open areas – one to the north and one to the south – with a small, condensed pathway connecting them in the middle of the screen. That pathway will turn into a choke point before long, so be careful when venturing through. Brock, with his ability to go into water, and Piper, who is great at ambushing opponents, are great in this map.
  • Rockwall Brawl - This circular map throws a ton of walls and other obstacles in your way, turning an open area into a series of long corridors. Make sure to watch your back as you walk; you don't want to be caught between two enemies in one of those halls. Here you will spawn with another player, and you could either retreat or defeat them and take the Power Cube. This map is great for Tanks like El Primo.
  • Cavern Churn - Cavern Churn is made up mostly of narrow corridors with some small rooms between them, and a 2-by-2 lake in the center. The grassy area surrounding it is perfect for sneaking up on someone in the late stages of a match. Tanks like El Primo and Bull, or Assassins like Leon and Edgar are perfect for this map.
  • Feast Or Famine - Feast Or Famine starts with all 10 players lined up in a circle around the center point of the map, which holds multiple Power Cube boxes begging to be opened. However, the rest of the Brawlers in this match might have the same idea, which turns the opening moments of a match here into a bloodbath. Brawler beware! Use the bushes in the center to hide and attack. Shelly or Bull can be great for you here.
  • Double Trouble - Double Trouble is mostly open terrain, with a few walls segmenting it into six evenly-spaced areas. If you see Double Trouble as your next map, bring your best long-range Brawler like Piper or Brock with you; you're going to need that skill.
  • Stormy Plains - This map's outer edge is made of tall grass for hiding, the inner area is mostly walls and hallways, and between them is mostly open terrain with little obstacles. Play it safe by staying in the middle, and then rush in when you're ready to win. Here, Brawlers skilled in medium to long range combat are key. You should go for Throwers like Tick or Dynamite.
  • Skull Creek - Skull Creek feels like a maze in some places, specifically the grid-like area in the southwestern corner and the skull-ridden paths of the center. Use those areas to your advantage, and eventually you could trap an enemy for a quick kill. Heavyweights like Rosa or El Primo and Assassins like Leon or Edgar are favorites in this map.
  • Flying Fantasies - Flying Fantasies has barely any walls to speak of anywhere on it, as it mostly contains tall grass for hiding and waterways that serve as barriers. This is another map where long-distance attacks will be majorly helpful in securing a win. There are launch pads across the map, and you can combine them with long range Brawlers like Pam or Max to win.
  • Safety Center - From above, this map looks like a massive target, with open pathways mixed with grass and a few bodies of water. Enemies can come from all sides here, so keep your head on a swivel or else you'll be looking at the elimination screen in no time. Brawlers with a good spread like Crow, Leon, and Bo are your best bet here.
  • Fiftyfive - Fiftyfive's inner area has two circles next to one another – resembling the infinity symbol in a way – and that area tends to heat up in a hurry. Stay along the outer paths and you shouldn't meet much resistance on your way to a win. Meg and Clancy have proven to be great in this arena.
  • Leaping Frogs - This map's pattern is a zig-zag-looking effect, where the paths encourage you to walk diagonally as opposed to up, down, left, or right. This might be the hardest of the 12 maps to pick up, but once you do, you'll be unstoppable on it. Meg, Draco, Chester, and Pearl are great options for you if you want to win here.
  • Final Four - Final Four here is shaped like a massive four-leaf clover, with each "leaf" sporting the same layout but at a different angle. Stay out of the V-shaped walls in each section if you can, as they're great places for enemies to trap you and score an easy elimination. You can take cover in the walls and heal up before heading into battle. Sharpshooters like Carl and Belle excel in this map.
