Advanced tips for getting ahead in Township

When you start out in your Township journey, you'll need to get into a nice groove of resource management, city building, and mission completion. However, that routine can soon become a double-edged sword, as sometimes you'll need to break out of it to complete the next big task.
Here, we've provided a few tips for the later stages of the Township experience, once you've established yourself in the game for a while. Keep these suggestions in mind as you continue to build your town, and you won’t have a problem staying on top of things for as long as you play.

Expand your land

With all of the different buildings, fields, and roads your town will need, things can get cramped in a hurry. Land expansion is therefore very important, but figuring out when to expand your land base can be tricky.
Ideally, you’ll want at least one land expansion going for every 5-6 buildings you bring into your town, assuming you have the tools, coins, and population for it. If you need more resources, build a house to add more citizens or sell some materials to get gold. The investment is worth it when you finally get that square of land cleared out.

Improve your productivity

Industrial buildings like Factories and Farming structures are essential to your town’s success, as they can turn the raw materials you're gathering into items for trade via train or helicopter. You'll get the opportunity to build them early on in the adventure, but the key is upgrading them as you progress.
Most production upgrades come in the form of extra slots – like extra stalls for cows, or extra boxes for producing feed, cheese, and other items. Unlocking those slots will allow you to create needed materials even faster, which will keep your town running at the capacity you want it to be.

Remember the train

Unlocking the Train Station at level 5 gives you a new way to access materials needed to expand your town. However, because the train is a timed mechanic, you may simply forget to send it out in the first place or collect what materials have been shipped, so keep your train station top of mind.
Make the Train Station a regular stop on your rounds, especially in later stages of the game where your town has expanded to a decent size, and remember to collect those materials often. If you eventually upgrade to send multiple trains at a time, you’ll have even more incentive to stop in and see what you can gather.

Spend your cash wisely

Township offers a premium in-game currency in the form of Township Cash – also known as Cash or T-Cash. You can earn Cash by completing in-game tasks, winning in-game competitions, leveling up, and more. You can also purchase it from the game shop.
The amount of Cash you'll receive without spending real money is pretty limited, so you'll need to budget accordingly in order to maximize its effectiveness. If you can figure out where your town needs the most help – perhaps in the Production building slot upgrades – then use your T-Cash wisely for maximum results.
