Mobile Legends: Bang Bang's best hybrid heroes

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang offers more than 120 heroes to choose from, split in six class categories. However, if you don’t want to lock into one singular play style, there are hybrid heroes for you as well.
Hybrid heroes have dual typing, and represent the "best of both worlds" for their types. The five heroes listed here are prime examples of how effective dual-type heroes can be. If you're the kind of player who likes multiple strategic options, these choices are for you.

Yin/Martial Genius (Fighter/Assassin)

Yin's Fighter/Assassin type means he's all about combat, and his kit only makes this more obvious. Solo combat is no problem for him thanks to his Passive, Leave It To Me, which buffs his damage output and gives him a small bit of Spell Vamp – health restoration via damage dealt – whenever he faces an enemy alone.
His Charged Punch gives him a temporary speed boost and a powered basic attack, while Instant Blast not only damages enemies when he rushes, but also with some golden rings that appear after the attack. Finally, his Ultimate, My Turn, traps his opponent with him in an alternate dimension, where he is far more powerful. If you want to bash as many skulls as possible, Yin is the one for you.

Alice/Queen of Blood (Mage/Tank)

Alice may, sometimes, struggle early in the game, but if she's allowed to power up at her leisure, she'll become a nightmare to deal with when it matters most. Her Passive, Blood Ancestry, not only constantly restores her mana, but also gives an extra boost to her movement speed and healing received every time she levels up. With 15 levels per hero, that's 14 boosts per match if she gets to Max.
Her special attacks capitalize on Blood Ancestry's buffs as well, with Flowing Blood allowing her to teleport to a damaged foe and Blood Awe stopping and slowing enemy heroes for easier chasedowns. Her Ultimate Blood Ode can turn a skirmish around in an instant, as it causes AOE damage to enemies while healing her. With a Mage/Tank hybrid like Alice, your team is headed straight to victory.

Yi Sun-shin/Paenlong Legend (Assassin/Marksman)

Yi Sun-shin's Assassin/Marksman profile comes from his ability to wield two different types of weaponry in a single match with his Blood Floods special attack. His glaive serves as his weapon of choice in close-range battles, while his longbow can pick off enemies from a distance when needed.
You can choose between the glaive and the longbow depending on how long you hold down the button on the screen. Moreover, his Ultimate, Mountain Shocker, not only auto-targets every enemy on the battlefield but also reveals their position for a short time. With these abilities, Yi Sun-shin can take down any enemy he wants with a single button press.

Faramis/Soul Binder (Support/Mage)

A word of warning up front: Faramis is a complicated character. His kit focuses on altered states – for instance, Shadow Stampede turns into a shadow – and his constant generation and collection of soul fragments is unlike most of the other heroes in the game. However, he easily becomes one of the top heroes in Mobile Legends.
His Passive, Vicious Retrieval, generates soul fragments. While alive, the fragments give him a small bit of healing and extra magic power; and when he dies, they reduce his respawn time, up to as much as 90%. If you can keep Faramis alive for a while, even a brief defeat won’t keep him down for long.

Mathilda/Swift Plume (Support/Assassin)

Mathilda is a Support/Assassin hybrid and calls on the spirits of the earth to help her in battle to deliver justice. Her Ancestral Guidance Passive slowly stacks when she moves, eventually becoming an enhanced basic attack, giving a brief buff in movement speed.
Where Mathilda really shines, however, is crowd control. All three of her active abilities affect multiple enemies at a time, or in Guiding Wind's case, buff multiple ally heroes at once. Her Ultimate Circling Eagle even gives her control immunity – helping her avoid enemy crowd control attacks. As such, she's best used in big crowds to turn the tide of battle.
