PUBG Mobile is one of the best and most challenging battle royale games available today. In this guide, we’ve gathered five key tips that we think will make your playing experience better.

Keep an eye on the bottom-left corner of the lobby screen for which server you're on, and change it if needed to get the best connection. Changing it is simple: Tap the arrow on the bottom-right corner of the lobby screen, then tap Settings at the top of the menu. Once the menu appears, tap the "Change" button in the "Select Server" row, look at the dropdown menu for the lowest ping time, and select that server.

Finding a setup that's most comfortable for you is essential for good gaming. To customize your layout, go to the same Settings menu as above, then tap Customize Buttons on the right-hand side. From there, tap the Customize button in the yellow box in order to bring up the full touchscreen layout, which you can then change by moving each button wherever you want.

In PUBG Mobile, the "blue zone" – or the zone outside of the circle that damages anyone in it – has an odd attribute: It never acts the same way twice, and sometimes the damage output in the blue zone can be catastrophic. This makes staying within the circle even more important, as you don't want to find out the hard way how painful the blue zone can be.

Overlooking attachments and focusing solely on picking up weapons is a recipe for disaster. The improved aim or increased magazines found in some attachments can give you a big boost when you find an opponent in the field. Best of all, they auto-attach to the guns they support, so all you have to do is pick them up to enjoy their benefits immediately.

PUBG Mobile offers a robust training mode to improve your skills. You'll find the Training Grounds options at the top of the match selection screen, next to the Cheer Park and Rooms options. Head in there and iron out the kinks in your game through shooting drills and more, and you'll be feeling pretty good the next time you drop into one of the game's many maps.
