Top picks for Support in Mobile Legend: Bang Bang

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang offers a varied roster of heroes. Whether you prefer battling right in an opponent's face, or striking from distance with magic or a bow-and-arrow, you'll find a hero that suits your specific style. This guide will dive into the five best options for a Support hero in Mobile Legends.
Support characters are the best choices for you if you are all about helping your teammates become stronger and earning the victory through that added strength. Support heroes are focused on giving teammates an extra edge in the heat of battle, but they can pull double duty and fill other roles as well.

Chip, The Phase Technician

Chip is a dual Support/Tank hero, which means he's more sturdy than the other heroes on this list. Named after the potato chips he loves so much, he is a genetically enhanced fox with advanced portal technology. His main abilities are more focused on buffing himself rather than the group, but his Ultimate, Shortcut, turns him into one of the best Support heroes in the game.
Shortcut opens a massive portal near Chip's current position, causing heavy damage to any enemy heroes near it. It also creates smaller portals near every teammate on the map, so that they can come back to the allied base for instant healing. The portals only last 10 seconds, but if multiple teammates need a bailout in a pinch, Chip can provide it immediately thanks to his portal tech.

Floryn, The Budding Hope

Floryn is a pure Support hero, which means she is at her best in a team, focusing on them rather than attacking the enemy. While she does have abilities that can damage opposing heroes, their aftereffects are the most important part of them and should be the focus of her strategy. Determined to transform the desert into an oasis, she travels with her companion – Dew – who buffs to her abilities.
Sow produces seeds that drain magic from nearby enemies and heal allies, while Sprout can reveal the locations of damaged enemies. Her Ultimate, Bloom, heals all her allies and removes all shield reduction buffs on them, no matter where they are on the battlefield. Floryn can turn the tide of battle with one Ultimate activation, which makes her one of the best Supports in the game.

Rafaela, The Wings of Holiness

Another pure Support character, Rafaela is a uniquely offensive-minded Support. Her Light Of Retribution can slow down an opposing hero and make them easy prey for an ally who might have a powerful Ultimate ready to go, while her Holy Light heals and increases the movement speed of every ally in her vicinity, allowing them to keep the pressure on.
Her most unique trait, however, is her passive ability Deity Penalization, which triggers after she's been killed. Once her health hits zero, she transforms into a beam of light and deals big damage to the enemy who killed her as a revenge mechanic that an ally can immediately capitalize on. Offense-first Support heroes don't always succeed, but Rafaela shows that it can work.

Kaja, The Nazar King

Kaja is a hybrid Support/Fighter character who thrives in close quarters against opposing heroes. In fact, his abilities – like the paralysis-inducing Lightning Bomb and self-healing Ring Of Order – sound more like the moves of a non-Support character. However, his Ultimate, Divine Judgment, plants him firmly in the Support category as one of the most unique abilities in the game.
If Divine Judgment connects with an opponent, it not only paralyzes them for a short time, but Kaja can then drag them with him to a waiting ally or a tower to deal more damage. Being able to take temporary control of an enemy is tremendously effective, as it thwarts escape while also leaving them wide open for more damage.

Faramis, The Soul Binder

Like Kaja, Faramis leans more toward the offensive side of his dual typing – Mage, in his case – rather than the defensive-minded Support side. That being said, his Ultimate does grant any nearby allies tremendous buffs to HP and movement speed, so he's not entirely lacking in the support department.
Faramis's best trait is his passive ability Vicious Retrieval, which generates and collects soul fragments from successful attacks and enemy kills. He can then use those fragments to heal, gain more magic points, or reduce his respawn timer. His ability to back onto the battlefield more quickly than other heroes makes him an essential choice for a Support slot.
