All you need to know about Meg in Brawl Stars

Some Brawlers have simple strategies: run in, blast away, and leave with the victory. Others require a bit more nuance thanks to a few added layers of complexity, and Meg certainly fits that bill.

Here, we'll take you through everything you need to know about Meg, with a focus on her mech and how different she plays inside and outside of it. Once you suit up with Meg, the other team better be ready, or else you'll cruise to victory on the back of her humongous robot.

Meg prefers to "work behind the scenes", while "Max and Surge are out entertaining the crowds." Her main offensive weapon is her Mecha, a massive bipedal robot, which she calls into action by activating her Super move. The Mecha has its own unique attacks, which are far more potent than her single blaster, and the two make quite a team on the battlefield.

As mentioned, Meg performs differently with and without her Mecha. In each instance, she has separate attacks with varying degrees of effectiveness. Without the Mecha, Meg's main attack, Target Acquired, delivers a single burst from her blaster that deals a decent amount of damage over a decent range. Her Super, Mega Machina, calls the big burly Mecha into combat, changing her entire game plan.

In the Mecha, Meg's main ability, Crowd Control, sends a burst of bullets to deal significant damage to any unlucky opponents caught up in her way. On top of that, her Mecha even has its own formidable Super, Feel The Steel, a swinging forearm attack that can take down many opposing Brawlers in a single attack.

Meg's Gadget choices focus on supporting her allies on the battlefield, whether it’s her Mecha or her teammates. Jolting Volts heals the Mecha, restoring 2450 health over a period of five seconds. There’s also Toolbox, which drops a small toolbox on the ground, giving any nearby allies an increase in reload speed for as long as the box is on the field.

Her Star Powers, meanwhile, give her extra protection if her Mecha is destroyed during a match. Force Field gives Meg a shield for 10 seconds upon losing the Mecha, which she can use to escape a skirmish. Heavy Metal makes the Mecha explode upon its destruction, dealing massive damage to all enemy Brawlers while pushing them away from Meg's position.

As her bio infers, Meg is best on the backlines, providing cover and support for her teammates when she's out of her Mecha. Once her raucous robot is summoned, however, it's time for her to go on the offensive.

Meg's abilities make her a solid option in virtually every mode, though it's not recommended that you take her into a solo event. She can be a major liability when she's not in the Mecha, and in a solo fight that means an instant target on your back. Stick to team-based events or modes like Brawl Ball, and you'll be set.
