What are Teams in Fishdom?

Your Fishdom journey doesn’t necessarily need to be a solo one. Teams in Fishdom let you connect with others, share resources, and compete together. They unlock at level 36 and offer a social layer that boosts your game. Here’s how Teams work and why they matter.

Team basics and features

Teams consist of up to 30 members who share lives, chat, and take part in group activities. Once you hit level 36, you can create or join a team via the Team window, found in the game’s bottom-left corner.There are two team types – Open teams let any players join immediately, while Closed teams require leader approval for joining.
To start a team:
  • Visit the Team window, go to “Create team”
  • Pick a name, badge, description, and the minimum access level of your members (maximum can be your current level)
  • Creating a new team will cost you 5 in-game diamonds
To join an existing team:
  • Browse open teams
  • Search for a particular team by entering its team’s ID (visible on its badge)
  • Join via friends’ tabs or team search; approval needed for closed teams
  • If you're removed, you can't rejoin the same team until 7 days have passed.
Why join a team?
  • Sharing lives: Team members will provide you extra lives if you’re stuck at a difficult level
  • Group chat: The team chat will provide you plenty of tips to further your progress
  • Team contests: You’ll be able to join team challenges that are periodic challenges for additional rewards

Team contests and matching

Once you join a team, you’ll be eligible for team contests where you’ll compete with other teams and performance matters. Matching between teams is often determined by overall team level and contest entry timing. Participation in these events often results in special rewards in the team chest.
