  • Carry: It refers to a hero with a particularly effective set of skills to claim multiple objectives and eliminate enemy heroes.
  • Draft Pick: A special mode that unlocks when you reach Epic rank. Unlike a standard match, where players can use any hero, Draft Pick mode gives each team member the ability to "draft" a character to their team, as well as the power to "ban" other characters from being chosen by anyone.
  • EXP Laner: A hero that focuses on leveling up their own abilities quickly to be as effective as possible in the later stages of the game. They usually focus on the bottom lane of the arena.
  • Gank: A term to describe a surprise ambush or single attack designed to steal an objective from the opposite team. For example, one team deals the majority of damage to a spawned Dragon Turtle, only for the other team to land the final blow and steal the bonuses.
  • Gold Laner: A hero that focuses on dealing as much damage as possible to earn gold and unlock equipment for the team. Gold Laners focus on the top lane of the arena.
  • Jungler: A hero role that operates on the areas between each lane, where monsters and creeps roam. The Jungler takes down these monsters for additional experience and Gold to that player's team.
  • Lord: Refers to the Elemental Lord – a special monster that spawns in the jungle area of the arena at certain times during a match. The team that takes down the Elemental Lord can summon it to the opposing team's weakest lane for an attack on the nearest tower, and to buff their team's Minions.
  • Mid Laner: A hero that focuses on controlling the middle lane of the map to open up approach options and pathways for the rest of the team.
  • Push: Refers to when a team focuses on achieving one lane, tower, or other objective.
  • Roamer: A hero role that travels between the jungle and the different lanes of the arena, assisting teammates and completing tasks when needed.
  • Terrified: When a hero is Terrified, they are unable to attack, defend, or move on command for a brief period of time.
  • Transformed: When a hero is Transformed, they change shape and are unable to attack or defend for a brief period of time.
  • True Damage: Damage that, when afflicted, ignores any resistances from armor or magic.
  • Turtle: Refers to the Dragon Turtle – a special monster that spawns in the jungle area of the arena at certain times during a match. The team that takes down the Dragon Turtle will receive bonus Gold and a temporary shield buff.
  • Wiped Out: When one team eliminates every hero on the opposing team.
