How to find and join experiences in Roblox

Roblox is a community-driven game, both in the way you play with other people and in that every experience in the game is made by another user. Be it a small hangout area for friends or a sprawling adventure with hours of gameplay, there are a near-infinite number of experiences for you to find while scrolling through the Roblox app.

This guide will help streamline the experience-finding process for you, from showing you where the top experiences are to the best way to search for a specific experience. The app can be daunting for first-time players, but finding the best experience for you is easier than it looks!

The first thing you'll see when you log into Roblox is the Home Page, which provides two key metrics right from the jump. The first is Today's Picks – experiences that are particularly popular on any given day. Sometimes Today’s Picks brand-new creations, other times they're long-time chart-toppers.

The second is the Recommended For You section, which curates specific experiences based on those you've played before. This is a good spot to find something new to check out if you've been playing the same game for a while and are ready to change it up.

If the Home Page's suggestions don't interest you, the next best place to start browsing is the Charts tab. This is, for all intents and purposes, the main catalog of Roblox. Every experience in the game can be found here if you look hard enough, but since that's an astronomical number, Charts separates the top choices into helpful categories.

Once you've found the experience you're looking for – be it in one of the above curated lists or by looking up an exact title in the search bar – it's time to join the fun. Simply tap on the desired experience, and when the small window pops up from the bottom of the screen, tap on the big green play button to get started.

Once inside, you can play through the experience however you wish, either with friends or on a solo run. When you're finished playing, simply tap the Roblox symbol in the top-left corner of the screen, tap "Leave", and confirm. You'll be right back in the menu you originally joined from.
