A Twist of Fate Named Grut

Grut’s story sounds like a joke made especially for April 1st. But that is exactly how it happened. One day, the alchemist Drogo lost a vial filled with a dangerous substance in the forest. It shattered against the roots of an old oak, and a few drops splashed onto an ordinary mushroom. A few hours later, it came to life. That was how Grut came to be — a creature born by chance, raised with kindness, and driven to search for the meaning of its own life.
