In the Eye of the Dragon

Tenoch knew peace long ago when the dragons three ruled over the evil, susceptible peoples. Now, however, the dragons are long since dead, and humans rule.

For better or worse.

The king is a broken sloth. The crowned princess doesn’t want the throne. The prince is intellectually delayed. The younger princess is vain and spoiled.

The queen committing adultery sets off a chain of reactions that will leave the world in a time of turmoil. Will peace ever return to the land?

Tenoch’s peace is threatened even more now that the king and prince are dead. Two queens—the king’s brand new wife and the eldest princess—vie for the throne in a power struggle that jeopardizes any accord and good will, especially with Vincana, the southern continent.

Perhaps the humans need the dragons to rule them, to maintain order and discipline. Without them, war and chaos seem inevitable.

Who will survive? Who will be killed? Only time will tell.

If the war grows to encompass all of Dragoona, there may be nothing left for the dragons to lord over, and all might be for naught.

The two queens are struggling to maintain their control over Tenoch Proper. Vincana seeking aid from the islands only serve to decrease the queens’ chances.

But not all who are lost remain lost forever, and the road is paved for a return. Time away, however, can change a person and not always for the better.

And what of the Keepers of the Flames? Will they fulfill their quest in resurrecting the dragons? If peace is to be had, perhaps the dragons should slumber until the end of time. After all, once war is finished, there tends to peace, yet this war shows no signs of ending anytime soon.

What the people need is a benevolent dragon of old, one to guide them back to the light, but it is far too late for that. Now, there is only chaos and darkness, blood and ashes, and the world may very well fall to ruin.
