K'Barthan Series, A Humorous Sci fi Fantasy Adventure

5 items

Readers who like both fantasy and science fiction elements in novels will (hopefully) enjoy the very British, dry, sarcastic humour and satire in this series of books. There are elements of urban and portal fantasy, dark sections and some gallows humour, but this is, for the most part, a light read in the tradition of Pratchett or Adams (only not as good). Note the books need to be read in order and there are cliffhangers, although this series is complete.

A man chosen by destiny ... the wrong man!

All The Pan of Hamgee wants is a quiet life.

So why did he have to fall in love with a woman living a different version of reality, upset a murderous tyrant and then run out of places to hide?

Now all he has to do is face his inner demons, rescue everything he holds dear and save the world, or die trying.

Oh yes, and he’s an abject coward.

Great. No pressure then.

This series is written and spelled in English English, as opposed to American English.
