The Sea of Her

Three years ago, her well-kept secret got exposed — and upon finding out, the sinister Twins who rule the island have claimed her as their bride-to-be.

The Twins stole the Crown from the King of the Ocean many years ago, obtaining powers no man should possess, holding everyone prisoner and controlling dark sea creatures that haunt the streets at night.

Desperate for divine intervention, Leilani throws a message in a bottle into the sea, pleading for the King of the Ocean to awaken from his slumber and save her.

The next day, she finds an unconscious young man on the beach.

Keanu is a mystery, quiet and seemingly cold-hearted, stormy-eyed and bearing scars, harboring deep secrets of his own.

Could he be the King?

Or could he at least be Leilani’s savior?

As the Twins take her to their castle in the ocean, Leilani soon discovers truths and secrets about both the brothers and herself which she never imagined.

When the Twins announce that the wedding will take place in two days, Keanu gives in to his raging anger and slips back into his dark past in order to be the savior he promised Leilani he’d be — while receiving unexpected help from a mysterious force in the ocean.

But perhaps Leilani can be a hero herself, as the powers of the sea grow stronger in her veins.

The waves are rising.

The ocean is awakening.

It seems that not only Leilani’s letters bind her and Keanu’s destiny together.

So do the Twins.

And so does the Crown.

Leilani and Keanu have taken the Crown.

And they can’t let anyone find them.

The forces of the sea are keeping them on Cosmos Island, where they try hard not to get noticed and live their new life in secret, while keeping the Crown safe and out of anyone’s reach.

But Keanu sees danger in every face and every gesture, and Lei-lani is trying but failing to get answers from the sea. She has no idea what is expected from her, no idea where she’s supposed to go, what she’s supposed to do.

Or where to find the King of the Ocean.

Then Leilani and Keanu meet an enigmatic woman, who claims to have all the answers they need—but it soon appears to come at a cost which neither Leilani and Keanu are sure they can pay, es-pecially when it seems that while Leilani is growing stronger, Keanu only grows weaker and weaker still.

The King is lost.

A curse is unleashed.

Leilani’s identity is unraveled.

And Keanu’s past is watching them from the shadows.

Once more, the Crown has been claimed by a tainted soul.

As a new curse comes to life, Leilani feels the sea slip into shadows darker than ever before, and realizes it is up to her to defend it.

But how can she fight back against the most powerful queen all of mankind has ever known?

How can she fight back, when her Guardian, her dear stranger from the sea—the one who has been chosen to protect her, the one man she has given her heart to—is wearing a mask she cannot see behind?

Leilani is taken to the sinister world of the Deep, where there are countless secrets to be unraveled, violent games are being played, and where she will have to choose whether she will remain the girl she has always been… or embrace the side of herself that she’s been running from for years.

Maybe only then, she can save Keanu.

Perhaps only then, she can save the sea.

Now, the time has come for her to become a warrior herself.

Madam Deep’s mask has fallen, Kaholo’s true identity has been unraveled, and amidst the chaos, the turmoil of emotions, and the storm of confusion, Leilani has to give everything to prevent Madam Deep from selling her at the auction and taking the lives of Keanu and Sora.

And everything, is exactly what she has given.

Everything, is what she has lost.

Yet she has gained so much more.

As she dives into the darkest, unknown depths of herself, Leilani has to find a way not to lose all of her to the shadowy brothers she made a deal with.

But it is the only way to escape the Deep.

The only way to save her dear stranger from the sea, who is battling phantoms of his own and questions who he truly is, has always been, and is supposed to become.

They both have their task to fulfill.

Although maybe, it is very different from what they ever imagined…

This is where it all began. And where it all will end.

They soon become the people’s hope for defeating the false Queen poisoning their ocean, their island, and even their children, but Leilani and Keanu both know that this battle is different from the one they fought against the Twins.

This has become a war.

One they cannot hope to win on their own.

But even as familiar and unexpected allies arrive, Leilani and Keanu soon realize nothing is as it seems, and that they’ll have to look with more than their eyes in order to see through the games that are played and the masks that are worn.

As Yuka opens the hunt for the fourth Ocean Spirit in order to prevent Leilani and Keanu from awakening him, time is quickly slipping as shadows gather between the walls of the fallen castle where he resides.

Even with their pasts and true identities unraveled, Leilani and Keanu both still have demons to conquer and choices to make.

It brings them closer and deepens their love—

but will it last, will the outcome to this war bind them together forever… or tear them apart instead?
