The Men of the Marvell Ranch

Ella Etxeberri has always played it safe, so when her life still takes a bad turn despite her caution, she wonders if it isn’t time to see what she’s been missing. While researching risk behaviors in rodeo riders, she meets Shane Marvell, a cowboy who merits additional study of the personal variety.

Just as Ella is hitting the point to embrace risk, Shane is pulling back. He knows Ella’s all-in approach is born of curiosity and whim. He’s not what she wants forever, and perhaps Ella is one risk he can't allow himself to take.

Zach Marvell's been running the family Marvell Ranch without interference since he was fifteen, but when Finley James arrives for her sister’s wedding and proceeds to ask questions, give advice and tell him a few unpleasant facts about himself, he’s annoyed. And then intrigued. 

Horse trainer Finley James has been perfectly happy floating from job to job until her parents sell the family ranch in Nevada and she no longer has a safety net. She’s not worried as she’s landed a job at a top horse training facility, but that lasts less than a week when Finley, who’s never held back her opinions, tells a wealthy client a truth he doesn’t want to hear. Hat in hand she returns to Marvel Ranch hoping Zach will give her a short term job until she can figure out her next move. Finley knows promising to not interfere or makes waves will be tough. Who knew keeping her hands and her heart to herself would be her biggest challenge?  

Former golden girl McKenna Benjamin is now a single mom with a toddler struggling to eek out a living on her small Montana ranch, which was recently damaged by wildfire. She may be down, but no way is she out. And she’s definitely not going to turn to her wealthy I-told-you-so family for aid. McKenna considers herself a lucky survivor, and is committed to making it on her own even if her neighbor’s sexy horse trainer is the one offering to help. 

Horse trainer Brodie Collins needs a part-time assistant, but when his boss suggests hiring McKenna, Brodie is skeptical. The McKenna he once knew would never stoop to hard work, but Brodie soon realizes that ten years has utterly altered McKenna. Gone is the entitled beauty – replaced by a confident, determined woman, and Brodie finds himself falling hard.
