Amanda Spink

Amanda Spink is Professor of Information Science in the Faculty of Science and Technology at the Queensland University of Technology (QUT). Her research interests include information behavior studies, including information behaviors origin and development. She has published over 320 journal articles, refereed conference papers and book chapters and (so far) five books. In 2006, Amanda was identified as one of the leading influential information scientists of her generation. In 2008, a study funded by the UK Government listed Amanda with the second highest H-index citation score in her field. Companies like NEC, lBM, Excite.com, Alltheweb.com, Altavista.com, FAST, Lockheed, Vivisimo.com, and Infospace Inc. have sponsored her research.
