Angharad Price

Angharad Price is a novelist, essayist and playwright. Her novelO, Tyn y Gorchuddwon the Prose Medal at the 2002 National Eisteddfod and was named Wales Book of the Year in 2003. It was translated into English asThe Life of Rebecca Jones. Her novels,CaersaintandNelan a Bo, were shortlisted for Wales Book of the Year, as was her collection of essays,Ymbapuroli. Her playNansiwas produced by Theatr Genedlaethol Cymru. She is the author of acclaimed studies on Welsh literature and is Professor of Welsh and Creative Writing at Bangor University.
