Arthur Stringer

About The AuthorUS and Canadian author Arthur Stringer was a prolific writer known for his novels and film screenplays. He was born in Chatham, Ontario and later studied at Oxford University. He wrote poetry and worked as a journalist for the Montreal Herald and American Press Association. He was best known for his crime fiction and his adventure novels including his Prairie trilogy (1915-1922). His films include The Perils Of Pauline (1914), The House Of Intrigue (1919) The Purchase Price (1932) and The Iron Claw (1941).
