Barbara Slate is an artist, graphic novelist, and comic book writer. She has created, written, and drawn characters for both DCComics and Marvel., and was described as "titanically talented " by comic legend Stan Lee.For Marvel she created, wrote, and drew Yuppies From Hell and Sweet XVI, wrote 65 Barbie and Barbie Fashion comics and put her own spin on Disney's Beauty and the Beast and Pocahontas. Barbara created Angel Love for DC Comics, an adult-themed series for tweens and teens.
