C. L. Moore

Catherine Lucille Moore (1911-1987), writing as C. L. Moore, was an American science fiction and fantasy author whose work in the 1930s and 1940s helped shape the evolution of the genre. Known for her richly textured prose and psychologically complex characters, she created enduring figures such as Northwest Smith and Jirel of Joiry.
