Clinton Fernandes

Clinton Fernandes is an Australian academic and former Australian Army officer. Hes an Associate Professor in the International and Political Studies program at the University of New South Wales and his research includes exploring notions of the national interest in Australian foreign policy. He has written extensively on the role Australia has played in Indonesias history and political life, with particular focus on West Papua and East Timor. Other areas of research have included intelligence and strategy in South-East Asia.
